SEPTA’s reach is greatly expanded through the commitment, and engagement, of proactive teachers across the district
SEPTA Annual programming and activities, presentations and speakers are selected based on the needs (and Voices) of our membership. FPS involvement ensures you are aware of key opportunities for your students and their parents… and gives you a voice to recommend programs and areas of need!
All Fairfield Public School staff, from paraprofessionals to SLPs, OT, PTs, and psychologists and from SPED teachers to general education teachers have a stake in enhancing access and opportunities for our community in this inclusive system!
Only as strong as the Parents and Teachers who support it, Fairfield SEPTA provides access to a variety of opportunities for parents and children:
Annual Teacher Grants for applicants across the district…Opportunity to try out new ideas for your students or just to purchase much needed materials to supplement your classrooms! Last year we granted over $4000 across the district!
Monthly speakers provide insight into areas of interest as well as complicated changes and programs affecting special education students across Fairfield and the state
And so much more!

We hope that this year we will be joined by more teachers, parents, and families who share this mission… and the desire to enhance the activities and experiences available to their children and families through active participation! FPS staff memberships $5.00 again this year!
